this is a test of the flip slide hd camcorder and a WMV generated by koyote soft free video converter V2.9.0.0.

specifics of this conversion are: video codec WMV8, size 400x225, aspect 16:9, bitrate 768, including audio track codec WMA, frequency 44100, channel 2, bitrate 128. the converter was downloaded from: http://www.koyotesoft.com/indexEn.html (a licensed "standard" version is only $19, but i'm not sure what benefits accrue from purchasing it.)

i figure if a wmv required clean-up (like this one needs to be a little brighter), i can do it with WMM, or if it needs no touch-up, this program will work fine with no other foolin' around. i did have a moment of panic when the Blogger editing page said (after "processing" was completed), "there has been an error, try again later". i forgot it needs a little while to get itself together. a few minutes later, i viewed the post and all was fine.
